King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) offers a wide range of degrees in information technology at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. A Master of Sciences in Information Technology was the first program taught by the Faculty in 1995. In response to the increased demand in the job market and academic circles, 2 more degrees were added including a bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 2003, followed by a doctoral degree in 2004.
Besides the quality management in education, the Faculty of Information Technology gives priority to delivering research and academic services to the society. 9 information technology laboratories are provided to support graduate-level research and other academic activities. In addition, the Faculty’s academic personnel has engaged in providing consultation and taken part in the development of information technology systems for various country's leading organizations. Over the past 10 years, the Faculty has continuously offered a variety of training courses related to Computer Systems Development and Network and Database Management to the private sector, as well as the general public.
