Overview of Research and Technological Development
The Faculty of Information Technology encourages academic members and students to publish innovative, practical research papers to support the graduate programs toward the Faculty’s dedication to People Development, Research Endeavors and Social Services.
Research Endeavor:
The Faculty is committed to upholding the highest international standard in all information technology research initiatives that will be beneficial to the development of innovation and technological application at both local and national levels.
In addition, the Faculty aims to pursue practical research that can add value to both the economy and society. In response to the research policy and objectives, the Faculty has built high-quality research laboratories, well-equipped with experimental facilities, research resources and information technology tools to facilitate academic personnel and students to successfully pursue their research initiatives.
The research laboratories are located on the 5th floor of the Information Technology Building. Currently, there are 10 laboratories equipped for these 3 following research groups.
ISIS: 4 laboratories for Information Science and Intelligent Systems Group
NI: 3 laboratories for Networking and Internet Group
MET: 3 laboratories for Multimedia and Embedded Technologies Group
